In 2006, Stephen Harper named 8 people to the board responsible for implementing policies that would guide the work of the Assisted Human Reproduction Agency of Canada, an agency devoted to influencing medical practices. These elects included people who have spoken out against abortion and stem-cell research; did not include any stem cell scientists or fertility experts.  Kind of biased, hm?
